Die zentrale Lage macht den Park zu einer Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit von New York und die N\u00e4he zum Times Square lockt auch viele Touristen dort hin. Eigentlich ist der Park nicht sehr gro\u00df, aber aufgrund seiner Lage und seiner Gestaltung ist er sehr bekannt. Im Sommer finden viele Veranstaltungen auf der Gr\u00fcnanlage statt. Im Winter steht eine Eisfl\u00e4che f\u00fcr Schlittschuhl\u00e4ufer zur Verf\u00fcgung und ein kleiner Weihnachtsmarkt ist auch dabei. Durch die vielen Tische und St\u00fchle, die zur frei Verf\u00fcgung stehen, findet jeder hier ein Pl\u00e4tzchen zum ausruhen oder abschalten, trotz der Hektik und dem Trubel drumherum.<br \/>\nEr wird von einem der B\u00fcrot\u00fcrme, wenn es dunkel wird, durch k\u00fcnstliches Licht angestrahlt.
