Wenn man die Stra\u00dfe am Pier weiter runter geht, vorbei am Hubschrauber Landeplatz, st\u00f6\u00dft man auf den Highline Park.<\/p>\n<p><a Hell&#8217;s Kitchen. Hell&#8217;s Kitchen, wie kommt man auf die Idee einem Viertel solch einen Namen geben. Ziemlich abgefahren und cool. \u00dcbersetzt hei\u00dft es Teufels K\u00fcche. Die Herkunft des Namens ist nicht klar. Laut Wikipedia k\u00f6nnte der Name auf Umst\u00e4nde hinweisen, unter denen die irischen Einwanderer im 19. Jahrhundert dort lebten. Oder der Name k\u00f6nnte von einer Gang stammen, die damals dort lebten. In der Gegend soll einmal eine Familie namens Heil ein Restaurant mit dem Namen Heil\u2019s Kitchen betrieben habe. Aus Heil\u2019s Kitchen wurde mit der Zeit Hell\u2019s Kitchen.
